My career in public service began in the Ventura County Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office, where I learned firsthand how responsible financial stewardship supports schools, public safety, and our entire community. For nearly two decades, I have worked to uphold accountability and build trust in every role I’ve held. Today, I serve as the Director of Accounting for the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office and hold the Advanced Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (ACPFIM) designation, reflecting my commitment to responsible management and oversight of public funds.
Having worked both within the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office and in senior financial leadership roles across Ventura County government, I bring a well-rounded perspective on how public funds are collected, managed, and safeguarded for our community.
The Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office plays a critical role in safeguarding Ventura County’s public funds and serving taxpayers. The office collects property taxes that fund schools, public safety, and essential services, manages the County’s investment portfolio, and ensures that public funds are handled responsibly and transparently.
My priorities focus on modernizing services, strengthening financial oversight, and ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability for Ventura County residents and businesses.
I am available to meet with individuals or organizations to discuss people's concerns about the office
